My wife picked up her 2019 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium a few months back and bought it used with around 40k miles or so on the odo. Maintenance history information is limited and most likely the air filter had maybe never been changed and the spark plugs probably definitely hadn’t been changed… ever. It seems many people recommend changing the plugs quite regularly so I picked up a set of NGK LTR7BHX (95605) 1-step colder Ruthenium Spark Plugs Pre-gapped from TunePlus and a Green Filter air filter. This video is a quick how-to on changing both the spark plugs and the air filter. Overall, it’s a fairly simple and quick process!
I plan to do many more videos as I continue dabbling on the Mustang, my Xploder, work on repairing and restoring my 82 El Camino SS, doing some maintenance stuff on the Nissan NV3500, and numerous other projects… tech, gaming, etc… Stay tuned!
