My #Meziere electric water pump with idler is once again emitting excessive #noise… Determined it to be the retainer plate in the pump’s idler assembly having cracked causing play between the bushing and the idler assembly… let’s take a look and replace the entire idler assembly!
I have the Meziere #WP374 electric water pump installed on my 2000 Ford Explorer 5.0 v8 which has a similar v8 motor as the 94-95 Ford Mustang.
Overall, the procedure should be pretty much the same for every Meziere electric water pump with the idler assembly.
