How to easily install an aftermarket #radio & #backupcamera into your vehicle. Improved sound, performance, and convenience!

This video is specific to installing a radio and backup camera into a 2014-2016 Chevy #Impala Limited (2006-2014 9th gen Impala) without the Bose factory system but the overall concepts and process can be applied to a wide variety of vehicles as long as the correct installation kit and wiring harnesses are utilized.

NOTE: For 2016-2018 Camaros the method is slightly different… the 2016-2018 Camaros I believe use a USB thumb drive instead of an SD card. Go to the link above and be sure to enter your correct vehicle information to find the proper updated maps to purchase. Once received you would insert the thumb stick into a USB port (similar spot as where I installed the SD card) and you should get a prompt on the screen to update, select yes, and you will see updating in progress for some period of time. Once it completes it will say update complete and you can hit dismiss and the head unit will restart. Once it restarts and comes up completely you can remove the USB drive 😀
