Delete:
PROFSAVE
PROFSAVE_profile
Launch BF2042 and go through the initial configuration and setup process. This regenerates the 2 files you had deleted which the latest patch corrupted. Set your various settings and key bindings. If you have PROFSAVE_profile tweaks (such as those indicated in my other videos) exit BF2042, make those changes once more, and relaunch the game.
This method MAY also work and is a little less intensive:

Open:
PROFSAVE_profile
Delete:
Find “GstKeyBinding.infantry.ConceptYaw” & delete all of the lines that match and save file. Launch BF2042.
My game is running in 4k on an EK Fluid Gaming Vanquish 295 with an AMD Ryzen 9 5950x, NVIDIA 3090 (Zotac Trinity OC), 64G G-Skill memory at 3200mhz, EK CPU & GPU water-blocked custom loop w/dual radiators. Running Windows 10.
