WRX Install of REAR brakes: DBA 4k rotors, Hawk HPS 5.0 pads, StopTech SS lines, etc.. Part 6 (017)

Trying to catch up on these videos and piece everything together from everything I recorded when I did the full install/modifications of the suspension and brakes!

I have put thousands of miles on the suspension/brakes setup and it’s mostly been awesome so far!! A tiny bit of rubbing in the rear even with rolled fenders so I will either get fenders pulled a small amount or swap the lower control arms with ones that allow a little more negative camber.

FYI: The Yellow Speed Racing lower control arms don’t allow a ton of negative camber so keep that in mind if you select them.

This is part 6 of the full video series on the suspension and brakes transformation project on my 2017 Subaru WRX Limited. This video covers the rear brake install which includes installing DBA 4k rear rotors, Hawk HPS 5.0 rear pads, StopTech rear stainless brake lines, and also a quick cleanup and paint job of the brake calipers and brake caliper mount brackets.

The next video will cover the same items but for the front brakes followed by a 3rd brake related video covering bleeding of the brakes and some final stuff regarding the brakes.

Sorry for the videos kind of jumping around a little between each video! Also… Somehow the GoPro switched resolution and this wasn’t realized until I had already filmed everything, hence the scale/resolution change mid-video, lol.
